Jackson Hole Legendary Lines

With the Jackson Hole Legendary Lines series we're looking to expand the narrative behind skiing that wouldn't typically be a part of an edit. We obviously love to show the action but maybe more importantly we're hoping to show the mindset going into and the history behind some of the greatest lines around Jackson Hole.

There's No Place Like Home

Sam Smoothy has never skied less in his entire life. Living in New Zealand has its perks, but during the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic, international travel was completely off the table. Fresh off a string of injuries, Smoothy was frothing to get back out on snow, but a lackluster start to the southern hemisphere winter combined with a travel ban forced him to get creative. Always keen for an adventure, Smoothy decided to turn his sights close to home and take advantage of some of the world’s wildest mountains that lay just past his doorstep.

A Deeper Dive: Jeremy Jones

Jeremy Jones is no stranger to snowboarding adventures in far-off places – but his path to the experience he shared with Rafael Pease and Ryan Hudson in Mountain Revelations was far simpler than that of his cohorts. While the journey of living on a glacier together to create a snowboarding film was the same for all of them, going home meant returning to different realities. On their mission, the trio got to know the details of their past experiences, exploring what changes need to be made to make the mountains and the lifestyles they lead more inclusive.

The Athlete Edits: Sammy Carlson

Even though he's made a name for himself in the park, Sammy Carlson really comes alive when he's soaring over pillows and slashing through powder. Watch the skier doing what he does best in an unforgettable winter in Revelstoke, BC.
